For months, Maastricht has mostly existed as emails, portals, certified copies, payment deadlines, and documents that need to be translated. Every completed task reveals another task. When somebody says “no stress,” I appreciate the intention, but I still check whether my enrolment is real. I think the strange part is planning an entirely new life while being afraid that one administrative detail could stop it. I am excited. It just has not felt like excitement yet.
